Dreaming in Color

Do you dream “in color”?  I’m not sure whether I do or not.  Today’s card dares to dream in color!  It’s truly a burst of color in Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral.   The awesome and inspiring sketch for this card was created by Rita Wright for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge, and once …

Gardening with Spring Sampler

Spring continued… Yes, I’m still on my “Spring Thing”!  I just can’t get enough, and the spring stamp sets in the Spring Catalog are giving me all the inspiration that I need.  Today’s card features a few stamps from the appropriately named Spring Sampler set.  I pulled out a few gardening-related images to create …

In the Mood

Spring is definitely in the air, and when Spring is in the air, so is Love!  And that gives me occasion to bring out one of my favorite stamp sets, You Are Loved.  The flowers in the stamps coordinate so beautifully with some of the designs in the Print Poetry DSP Pack. Today’s …

Easter Blessings with Secret Garden

This week’s challenge at Pals Paper Arts has the most magnificant colors to work with, and they worked beautifully with the Secret Garden stamp set for a fabulous Easter card. I stamped the flowers on Calypso Coral card stock with VersaMark and then heat embossed with White Embossing Powder.  Each flower has three layers, and …

Moonlit Christmas and Black Friday Deals

Is there anything prettier than a full, bright moon shining down on snow-blanketed trees?  These trees, from the Lovely as a Tree Stamp Set were heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder, and then dusted with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter on a background of Midnight Muse card stock.   It reminds me of growing up in …

Birdie Birthday

I’m taking a little break from the fall and holiday themes today with a birthday card.  I got my reminder email today about The Paper Players sketch challenge, and something about this one kept calling my name.  I really liked the sketch, and at the last minute, decided I had to play along. …

Love & Sympathy

Welcome to another Wednesday with a wonderful sketch from Freshly Made Sketches!  Today’s card was inspired by this week’s sketch by Jen Mitchell, and this one is definitely “a keeper”! Using Jen’s sketch, this card was so quick and easy to make, and following the sketch almost guarantees a lovely card.   Unfortunately, I needed …
