Star-Filled Congratulations

I can’t say I’m screaming “Yay!” from the roof tops like I usually am on Wednesdays, but I AM really happy to be posting this week’s sketch and my card (really late).  After having my whole computer, iPad and phone in quarantine (by my techie hubby) for almost 24 hours, he says it’s safe for some “limited use” until he finishes eradicating the nasty virus that infiltration my devices.  It’s amazing how many hackers have interest in getting into a card maker’s blog and email account!  Go figure. Anyway, Happy Wednesday, and I hope you’ve already had a chance to head over to Freshly Made Sketches to see the FABULOUS sketch that Amy O’Neill has given us to work with this week, and also the truly fresh and inspiring designs by the Clean Team. Simply-Stars-Congratulation Amy’s wonderful sketch inspired this “Congratulations” card.  This one was purposely designed so that it can be used for a variety of occasions that call for congrats, since this is the season of weddings, anniversaries, graduations, engagements, etc.  I know I’ll need it! Simply-Stars-with-Washi-Tap This card features Simply Stars and Sweet Essentials stamp sets, which, I’m sad to say, were on the retiring product list.  All sets have sold out except the Wood-Mount Sweet Essentials at the time of this writing.  I’ve also used Large Rhinestone Basic Jewels, which are still available. Fortunately, you can still purchase the Watercolor Wonder Washi Tape, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Gold Sequins and that great NEW little star punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack that will be released in June. FMS136 - Amy O'Neill Please come visit us at Freshly Made Sketches and join this week’s challenge with Amy’s sketch!

This is probably what I was trying to achieve with my card Cindy – but you have made it look 100 times nicer than mine! Love all that white space!!!

Love your card with all the gold stars and sequins!! Perfect for a congratulations card for a graduate or other event that would earn a “gold star”!

BTW I hate to hear about the hacker/virus problem. This is my take on scammers, hackers, and identity thieves (amongst others that like to do harm) . . . I wish they would all just evaporate into thin air never to be heard from again. Simple as that! 🙂
