Sister-in-Law Birthday

For today’s card, I used some stash from the Sale-A-Bration DSP set, Everyday Enchantment, and some of our soon-to-be-retired 2010-2012 In Colors, Poppy Parade.  I sure am going to miss both of these.  They were perfect for the card I had in mind for my sister-in-law’s upcoming birthday, since I wanted to use the You Are Loved stamp set (formerly in the Holiday Mini), which will be in the 2012-2013 Catalog!

All of the DSP on this card is from Everyday Enchantment, and I’m hoping you still have some in your stash.  If you don’t, the new Comfort Cafe DSP, which will be available June 1st, would make a nice substitution for this type of card.  I’ve coordinated the DSP with Poppy Parade, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla.

The stamped image is from You Are Loved, and the stamp was colored with Soft Suede and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Write Markers.  The sentiments, both from Family Reunion stamp set, were stamped using the Soft Suede Ink Pad.

The flower was made with Everyday Enchantment DSP and Poppy Parade, and were cut with the Blossoms Punch.  I added a simple Brights Designer Button with a Hemp Twine Bow.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card and that it gives you some ideas to use up some of your leftover stash, since it’s time to make some room for your 2012-2013 Catalog order!

Thanks for stopping by!

That is gorgeous. I too will miss poppy, it is the prettiest orange SU offers. I wish this designer paper could be in the book – it is one of the prettiest papers they’ve had in a while.
