Today’s card is clean and simple and very mail-friendly, but it doesn’t lack details. This was created to be a masculine card, but certainly could be used for anyone, and any occasion. Because it was made for a man, I used Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake. Change up the colors for the occasion or the recipient for a completely different feel.
The birthday greeting, which is my go-to choice for a man’s birthday card, is from You’re Amazing. Also used was the very versatile Simply Stars stamp set.
A little simple heat embossing add more texture and interest, and paper piercing is always a great way to add detail to a gent’s card without adding femininity. The Essentials Paper Piercing Pack has great templates for straight lines and circles, among other shapes.
The addition of a few more stars give the card a completed look on the interior.
Imagine the possibilities of doing this same basic design with different colors and sentiments! Have fun with it!
This card was one of the designs that we made at my recent Card Class. If you live near Naples, Florida, and would like to come to my next class, please email me so I can send you the details!
Wishing you a happy stampin’ day!
