Shake your booty… Uh-oh. Here we go with the songs, again. And, if that’s not bad enough, I’m showing my age with this K.C and the Sunshine Band song! It was released in 1976. Oh my, sweet sixteen.
Okay, enough with that. It’s time for another Pals Paper Arts challenge, and that’s the reason that the song came up. I used Margaret Moody’s awesome sketch for a fun girly Halloween greeting with Bootiful Occasions stamp set.
Isn’t that a fun card?! The boot stamp includes the sentiment, so I inked just the sentiment with Basic Black ink, stamped it onto Whisper White card stock and cut it out with the 2-1/2″ Circle Punch. Then I inked the stamp again and stamped it onto Perfect Plum card stock and cut out the boot. The boot was adhered to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The circle was matted on a piece of Basic Black that was outlined with glue and sprinkled with Black Glitter. A bow made with 1/8″ Old Olive Taffeta Ribbon was added to the boot with a Glue Dot.
In keeping with the fun and funky look, the Pumpkin Pie card stock was embossed with the Chevron Embossing Folder and Witches Brew Designer Washi Tape was adhered to strips of Basic Black.
The New Envelope Punch Board is amazing! This was the first time I’ve had a chance to use mine and it is so unbelievably quick and easy! I used Witches Brew DSP to whip up this perfectly-sized matching envelope. I love that I’m going to be able to make a multitude of card sizes without worrying about having envelopes to go with them!
