I want to show you, especially if you are new to stamping and don’t have a clue where to begin, how $50 in merchandise and a free stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration brochure can provide you with enough supplies to make MORE THAN 10 DIFFERENT CARDS! I saw this wonderful idea at Leadership Conference earlier this month, and was thinking that I wish I had seen something like this when I started stamping, so I wanted to share it with you. Many of these ideas came from Stampin’ Up! and I’ve added a few of my own.
Sale-A-Bration starts tomorrow, and for those of you that aren’t familiar with Sale-A-Bration, it’s Stampin’ Up!’s annual promotion where you get a FREE selection from the Sale-A-Bration brochure for every $50 you spend. This year’s promotion runs from January 22nd through March 22nd.
The ribbon trim comes wrapped around the white pieces with the heart cutouts. This is a great way to use one of those pieces. Why not make a bookmark to include with a card with the other one?
The distressed edges on some of these cards were done with scissors.
Check out the cool package on the right. The ziplock bag on the inside to hold candies also came with the Artisan Embellishments Kit! Don’t throw anything away… find a way to use it!
Both of the odd-sized envelopes in the photo above were made with card stock.

Even after making all of these cards, you’ll still have card stock, envelopes, a stamp set, markers, linen thread and several embellishments/designer ribbons to make up to 30 more cards/projects! Make more of the same or create your own! These cards are easy, and the supplies don’t require a lot of storage space.
It you’ve never stamped before and don’t have any supplies, you’ll need your own scissors and some adhesive to put the pieces together. I’ve used Glue Dots (103683) for all of these cards. I’ve recommended the wood-mounted stamp set in the chart above, however, you can also order this stamp set in the clear-mount version (129636) instead, but you will need to order a clear mount Block D (118485) if you don’t already have blocks.
If you order this collection through me, I’ll provide you with the PDF instructions on how to make each of these cards upon request. You may make changes to the collection components if you already have some of these products. To get the PDF, just email me after placing your order to let me know that you would like the instructions. You may also email me if you need help placing your order.
Please keep in mind that to qualify for the Free Sale-A-Bration stamp set, you must wait until Janaury 22nd (2:00 am MT)! Be sure to stop back tomorrow to see all the choices for FREE goodies in the Sale-A-Bration brochure!
