Ring the Bells for FMS252

ARGHH!  Layers of circles!  Definitely a big challenge for me, always.  This week’s circles are courtesy of Karren Johnson.   Karren’s a very talented designer and, obviously, a really good challenge sketch maker.  🙂  So, here’s my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

I’m not sure if my creation totally qualifies to match the sketch; I hope it’s close enough!

FMS252-Cindy-HallI needed something that I could stack and the bells, cut in a snap with the new Bell Punch from the upcoming Holiday Catalog.  I didn’t want them just floating from the bow, with nothing behind it, so I used the pine branch from the stamp set Christmas Pines.  For a little texture and dimension, I popped the top bell with dimensionals and I embossed the greeting with clear embossing powder.

File this one as very easy and very mail-friendly!

FMS252 KarrenI hope you love the challenge of circles, and that you’ll join Karren and the rest of the Design Team at Freshly Made Sketches this week!

Happy Stamping!

This is a perfect take on the sketch, Cindy! Those bells look gorgeous and the tree branch really makes the card!

My circles turned into triangles so I think bells are a good substitute too! I love that yours are all sparkly and hanging from that pine branch. What a fantastic Christmas card!

Oh wow! This is gorgeous! I love this set and the punch is great too. I love using framelits, but sometimes, a quick squeeze of a punch is easier. What a beautiful card. Your take on it is perfect!

I feel the same way about punches over dies, Bobbi! It looks like they’re slowly phasing out of the stamping world, and I will miss them!
