Perfect Plum and Punches

Perfect Punches Stamp Set

This card just HAS to be perfect!  After all, I DID use Perfect Punches Stamp Set and Perfect Plum card stock…

This is a card that I designed for a training class for my sister-in-law, Cathy.  Cathy is an avid crafter, but she’s never made cards or papercrafts before.  I think it’s pretty safe to say she’s caught the bug!  I had a special class just for her to show her how to use all of the basic tools.  This card gave her opportunity to make a clean and simple card that incorporates dry embossing, cutting with framelits and heat embossing.  Like all first-timers, her jaw dropped when she saw the powder melt into a shiny, raised surface with the heat embossing.  🙂

Perfect Punches with Gold Embossing

The Perfect Plum ovals were cut with the Ovals Collection Framelits and the sentiment was cut with the Extra Large Oval Punch.   The ovals are shaped slightly differently, but adding the gold Metallics Brads made it look just fine.

The Flower Trim is such a quick and each way to add beauty and dimension, yet it’s still very mailable.  We added Pearl Basic Jewels to the centers of the flowers and placed them on leaves cut with the Little Leaves Sizzlits Die.
