Paper Players Fall Blog Hop!

Happy Saturday everyone!  If you have been to the Paper Players Blog, you will know we are having a blog hop today!  Everyone on the team has created a Fall project!  We are linking our projects up on our blogs this week, and some of us have blog candy to share! So be sure to check out each blog.  Here is the Blog Hop list…click the names to visit their blogs.
I wanted to do something special for you today, so I created a Fall Home Decor item.  I picked this photo frame up from my local craft store’s clearance rack a while back, and it has been waiting for a makeover, so I decided to dress it up for Thanksgiving.  I covered the simple white wood frame with Spice Cake Designer Fabric and then created a patchwork pumpkin with Spice Cake Designer Series Paper.  I zigzag-stitched the seams and edges with a beige-colored thread.
The Chocolate Chip background panel was embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.  The leaves were cut with a small die from my stash, and then embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.   It doesn’t show in the photo, but the pumpkin has a subtle texture created with a Texturz Plate from the Backgrounds 1 set.
Tomorrow we will have a lovely challenge hosted by Ann!  What will it be?  Be sure to visit the Paper Players blog tomorrow morning to play along!  For now, please click HERE to visit Jaydee’s Blog.  She is the next person on our blog hop, and I know she has something fabulous for you!
Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to leave a comment and become a follower of my blog, because I am giving away some candy today and will choose a random winner next Saturday, November 5th!  The lucky winner will receive the Stampin’ Up! Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder!
Good luck!

Great fall project! Wouldn’t this be cute as a place card with a person’s name on it and then coordinating napkins made with the fabric? I love the card as it is but just thought out of this. Or the card given with a set of napkins of the matching fabric or even purchased ones that go with the colors. Who says pumpkins have to be orange? Love this. I am already a follower via Ann Schach.
