Have you looked at all of the greetings in the New Really Good Greetings Stamp Set? The ARE really good greetings! The sentiments are fun and the fonts are larger and more contemporary. Check out the whole set below.
Today’s card is for the brand new “Team 2” Challenge at Pals Paper Arts! This week they are hosting a color challenge:
PPA Team 2 includes our beloved Ann Schach, who moved over from our original team, and 9 new talented designers. I hope you go check out their inspirational creations and play along.
I love paper and scissors. Can you tell? Designs like this are so much fun for me. Simple strips of paper make a bold patterned background with great texture.
TIPS FOR CREATING A GRID WITH PAPER STRIPS: Cut the strips slightly longer than the card you are attaching it to. Lay the base card stock on a piece of grid paper for easy alignment. Trim off the ends after you attach them for a really even edge.
You really don’t need much more when you start with a background like this, and besides, I couldn’t add any buttons or bows. Keep reading to find out why…
I’m preparing to go to our Stampin’ Up! convention next week, and I like to leave my husband a card to open every morning while I’m gone. I thought this sentiment would be great for the first morning. So, this was created to be a masculine card and that’s why there aren’t any buttons or bows!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed today’s card!
