This week’s Pals Paper Arts sketch, created by our talented Margaret Moody, has diagonal lines, which tend to throw most of us card makers for a loop. But I discovered that it doesn’t have to be difficult at all! (Okay, you probably already knew it and I’m just a slow learner or like to do things the hard way.) Keep reading and I’ll tell you how to make your diagonal strip fit perfectly in a very easy way.
Special products, like the Silver Foil card stock embossed with the Pretty Print embossing folder, make this card way above and beyond what you could ever buy off a store shelf. You’ll catch the recipient running their fingertips over the raised lettering.
The striped DSP, from Seasons of Style DSP Stack, placed on the diagonal add a festive flair. To make adding a strip of diagonal paper easy to fit property, simply cut your strip a little longer than needed, adhere it to the base paper, and trim away the excess. Perfect every time!
And then there are the three favorites from the Holiday Catalog for 2013… the Christmas Messages stamp set, the gorgeous Cherry Cobbler Grosgrain Ribbon and those super shiny Frosted Finishes Embellishments!
I hope you’ll visit us at Pals Paper Arts to see what the Design Team has created to inspire you with Margaret’s sketch, and that you’ll join in the challenge this week!
Thanks for stopping by today!
