It’s Time to Celebrate You!

It’s time for another Freshly Made Sketch, and Cindy Lovell has created one that I think you’re going to love.  I know I do!  And, you probably already knew this, but I just discovered that one (or more) of the sentiments from Remembering Your Birthday complements Clockworks perfectly.  I was shooting for a masculine card.  How’d I do?

This is such a simple card, yet Cindy’s sketch really jazzes it up.  I went the quick and easy way with Gold ink and added a few candy dots for texture.

I couldn’t leave you hanging on the rest of the sentiment, so here’s a look at the card interior:

I left the “Happy Birthday” off by coloring only “[YOU] with a Stampin Write marker.  This way, I’ve left the option to add “Congratulations” to convert this to a graduation card, if needed.  Or I can just add the “Happy Birthday”.  🙂

I hope you’ve been inspired by today’s card and that you’ll stop by Freshly Made Sketches to see what the ‘Clean Team’ has created for you.  Come, play along with us!

I’m so sad to see that set retire as I don’t have it! I am trying to resist buying any of the things leaving, but that one was so tempting. Fabulous card; I LOVE the retro colors!

I ditto what Brian said!! FYI, I’m just “one” of his “many” fans!! Your masculine card is definitely one that you must take a “second” look at and realize just how “on the dot” it is for a masculine card!! 🙂

Love it! I’m always happy to see when masculine cards incorporate beautiful colors – and this one is perfect! I love the tie-in of the two sets.
