It’s Pretty Good to Receive, Too!

I have to share a card with you that I received from my customer and friend, Malou Cartwright.  I mentioned Malou a couple of weeks ago… she’s the one who’s been stamping since 1994.  I met Malou through this blog, and she was my very first online customer.  She’s been such a tremendous support and a compassionate friend.

She sent me this Christmas card that I just can’t stop ooohhhing and ahhhhing over.  Please don’t leave today without leaving a note in the comments for Malou!

I love every single thing about this card.  The layout is fabulous, the texture, the colors, the stamp set and awesome coloring and details.  Wow!

Doesn’t the old adage say that it’s better to give than to receive?  Well, here’s the exception to the rule… it’s pretty nice to receive a handmade card!  Malou told me that her co-workers decorate their cubicles every Christmas with the cards she’s made them over the years, therefore, guilting her into making them another one every year!  LOL!  That’s funny!

Here are some more closeups of the details of Malou’s awesome talent:

Am I the luckiest Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, or what?!  If Malou ever gives a class, I want to be the first to sign up!  Malou is not a demonstrator and she doesn’t have a blog, so if you love her creation as much as I do, give her a ‘shout out’ and leave her a message below.

Thank you so much, Malou, for being such a valued friend and customer.  I am so blessed to have met you!

Oh my goodness! No wonder her co-workers “guilt her” into making another card each year–this is wonderful! Such detail, such execution! So festive and fun!

Beautiful. I especially like how she zeroed in on part of an image for a more intense effect. Malou, you need a blog. EVEN if you don’t want the pressure of posting every day, it would be a wonderful forum for your work and inspire the rest of us. Had you considered being a demo? Customers would love to craft with you. You COULD do it. AND you could get a discount on supplies for all of your wonderful creations. You go girl!
