Goodbye to Elements of Style

Customers always ask which stamp sets are the most versatile and my “go-to” stamp sets.  My answer continues to be Elements of Style.  Here’s a final tribute to this retiring set.

Let’s take a trip down memory lane, starting with this card that was made at my card class Saturday.  It was perfect for teaching watercoloring.

The highlight of the card is the beautiful flowers.  The image was stamped with Black Staz-On onto watercolor paper, “loosely” colored (basically scribbled) with a blender pen and ink and then spritzed lightly with water to get the watercolor look.

This really IS a must have set. My friend and I, a demo, ordered the wood set just to be sure we would have it forever! It is just so versatile and beautiful! We used chalks at her home workshop, and that turned out beautifully! It’s also nice to imprint a butterfly with the floral image. There are just so many things you can do with this set! I hope anyone considering buying it will go ahead. You won’t be sorry! (and you can always sell it on ebay if you want to!!!)
Thanks for showcasing this set one last time. 😀
