Friday’s Secret

Okay, it’s not really a secret that I love Secret Garden stamp set and framelits dies.  It makes it such a snap to put together this spring fresh card with color blocking.

Such simple stamping with quick and easy cutting make this card a breeze to create.  Two sizes of clear blocks with Wisteria Wonder and Lucky Limeade create a palette to highlight the raised flowers and sentiment.

Stampin Up Printed Designer Brads and Secret Garden Stamp Set

Simple embellishments were just right for this fresh look:  Designer Printed Brad provided beautiful coordinated centers to the flowers and a simple bow tied with Lucky Limeade/White Baker’s Twine on the sentiment balances the card.  Leaves cut with the Bird Builder Punch balance out the card with a few more splashes of Lucky Limeade.

The card base is Elegant Eggplant.  The Color Coach card for Wisteria Wonder suggests a “Creative Combination” of Wisteria Wonder, Lucky Limeade and Elegant Eggplant, and I added a splash of Daffodil Delight.  I love the Color Coach!

I hope you’ve been inspired by this card and that you’ve set some time aside this weekend to Stamp out Stress!  🙂

Happy stamping!

    Hi Cindy,

This combination of colours is one of my favourites too! I love the overlapping colour block. It looks like you’ve rounded the edges of the sentiment piece. Could you tell us which punch you used to do that please?

    Thank you:)

Carolyn, you have a keen eye! I used was a non-SU very small corner-rounder on the top corners. It’s an old punch that I had in my stash.
