Freshly Made Halloween Happiness!

Happy Wednesday!  This week at Freshly Made Sketches, our talented designer, Linda Suarez, has created a very clean sketch for us, and I love it!  I had so many ideas of ways to use it, and I’m looking forward to using the sketch again soon.

For today’s card, I started with the Halloween Happiness stamp set.  I’ve been anxious to use this one!

This card has lots of texture between the Burlap Ribbon and the Square Lattice embossing.  The Sweater Weather DSP is a perfect choice with the whimsical stamp set.

The Jack-O-Lantern was “carved” with an X-Acto blade and layered over a small scrap from the Sweater Weather DSP.

The Burlap Ribbon goes so well with all the fall themes, and I especially like it with the Sweater Weather DSP.  I added a button from the Naturals Designer Button collection and tie it up with a cute bow made with Linen Thread.

I hope you enjoyed this happy card!  Thanks for stopping by!

What a great card, Cindy! I love your happy Jack-O-Lanterns! Really love how you “carved” out the face and added the layer of DSP underneath! So clever and eye-catching!

Cute card! Love how you cut out that pumpkin and put the sweater weather dsp behind it. Almost looks like those white lines can pass for a candle, glowing behind. I love the burlap, too! 🙂

Cindy, how clever are you?! I’m not allowed to have an X-Acto knife because we don’t get along well, but man! This is so fabulous!
