Isn’t it great when you find things you forgot about, especially in your craft supplies?! I was doing a little “deep” cleaning and purging and came across some vellum sheets with printed sentiments. I remember getting them, probably 7-8 years ago at a scrapbook convention. Then I found Stampin’ Up! and most of those early purchases were tucked away to make room for new stuff! 🙂
Jen Brum (Ladybug Designs) is our host and sketch designer for the challenge at Freshly Made Sketches this week. Jen is an awesome designer and I’m really attracted to her style; and then there’s the fact that she is one remarkable woman that you can’t help but love. I hope, if you haven’t already, that you’ll visit Jen’s blog to see what she creates. I’m sure you’ll see what I mean.
Isn’t this a wonderful sketch??? It’s such a new and fresh style, great lines, a little extra personality, and totally clean and simple. Don’t forget to visit Freshly Made Sketches to see what the rest of our über-talented team has created for us (yes, me too!) to drool over.
So simple. A piece of printed vellum mounted on white, matted with black and the heart colored in with a red Copic marker. I splattered the card on a diagonal with slightly watered down multi-purpose glue and sprinkled it with a fine silver glitter. The two flags are prints from a retired DSP stack and the hearts of red glitter paper were cut with a retired mini punch (the larger heart) and the owl builder punch (smaller hearts).
I hope you liked today’s design and that you’re inspired to play along with us this week!
