I hope this post makes it out there in the real world. My little world has a sick modem that’s travelling to the Comcast store as I type this. My husband turned my iPad into a “Hot Spot” for my laptop (somehow connects my laptop to the internet, I guess ????). Let’s hope it helps me make this post go live!
Can you see how easy it can be to pull something together with a well-designed sketch? And to make it fast and easy, it’s primarily just cut papers, a few die cuts and a stamped and embossed sentiment.
I couldn’t get it to show it the photos, but I put a glue dot on each snowflake sequin and covered it with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. It’s subtle and pretty. The sentiment was done in two steps with my Misti. I used a piece of masking tape for stamping and stamped the sentiment on it. Then I cut between the words so I could pull the appropriate pieces back to stamp the “Happy” and “Christmas”, replace them, and then pull back the center to stamp the “wonderful” in VersaMark to heat emboss with gold.
Well, I think this pretty much wraps up Christmas cards for me this year, except for my immediate family. Thanks, Jennifer Timko, for a great sketch and for all you do for our team and for all of our stamping friends.
I hope you’ve been inspired by Jennifer’s sketch and that you’ll play along and share with us. We need inspiration, too! 🙂
