Flower Shop Hello

It’s time for another awesome sketch by Margaret Moody for the Pals Paper Arts challenge this week!  I don’t usually get too excited over circles, especially more than one, but I saw my Flower Shop stamp set and coordinating Pansy Punch coming to the rescue!

This is a quick-n-easy, fun and contemporary greeting card.  I played up to the black and white by adding texture with the Argyle Embossing Folder.  The little banner strip is from a piece of DSP from the Back to Black Collection with a string of Strawberry Slush Baker’s Twine wrapped and tied into a bow.

Two black Neutrals Designer Buttons trimmed with circles of Silver Shimmer Paper add dimension and shine to the “textile” flowers.  A simple “hello” sentiment was perfect for this clean and whimsical card.

I hope you’ll come play along with us and Margaret’s fun sketch this week at Pals Paper Arts!
